Do we ever know anyone?
We only see parts
The parts that are visible
The parts they want seen
We see nothing obscene
No primal scream
No cracking seams
None of their dreams
None of their fears
None of their nightmares
We sometimes get laughter
Ignore the hereafter
Sometimes jokes
Or virtual pokes
Emotions invoked
But usually they lay hidden, bedridden
Saying much more than mere words can!
